My coworkers are very fun. The environment it fast paces and exciting. Easy to memorize and learn tasks. The place has more of a family vibe compared to a work environment. People will help you because they care about you and want you to succeed.
What I wish was different
We are making everything by hand and there can be human errors and we get chewed out sometimes. I wish we could explain why the error was made and not have to take people being overly harsh.
Advice
Just focus on learning and it will work well. It seems like a lot of work, but it gets broken up in a way that is manageable.

What I liked
I loved working here as it is a job that is very rewarding. The initial learning curve is pretty high but the satisfaction that comes with the challenge is really rewarding. A good wage, manager and co-workers really made it a great place to work.
What I wish was different
Wish I had applied sooner.
Advice
Only work if you're a team player, team work is extremely important especially during rush-hours. Also apply for the job in the summer helps as you can train when there is less customers making it less stressful in the beginning.

What I liked
It has been nice knowing what goes on behind the scenes at the management level. I feel like I have gained a lot of valuable work experience.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was able to keep doing it, it was good money but I can't work this intensive of a job and do school full time. I also wish that I wasn't penalized for trying to comply with corporate policy. I had to step down after summer because I couldn't do both.
Advice
I recommend getting student loans if you can because unless you are able to live rent free, it is impossible to work here and get paid enough to live, and it is nearly impossible to be in management here and expect to have enough time to study.

What I liked
The people and opportunity to learn many new skills. Great community and perfect for anyone who loves people and customer service jobs.
What I wish was different
Quite honestly nothing.
Advice
Definitely worth the time taken out of my Summer. Especially with morning shifts such as 6-2 or 7-11:45 I was able to have a full half day to be social and take care of my online classes.

What I liked
I enjoyed the flexibility of hours and the people I worked with.
What I wish was different
My manager never moved me from working the drive thru, so I was there the majority of my summer. Also, I frequently traveled to different stores to work shifts without asking if I was okay driving the distances (up to 30 min commutes).
Advice
Show initiative and get things done. If there is nothing right in front of you to do, find something to clean.

What I liked
the staff, the pay, my manager, the actual barista work
What I wish was different
better training, more balanced time between being on bar and register
Advice
ask questions! if your'e unsure about anything especially how to make drinks you should ask, no one cares if you don't know and everyone tries to be helpful. Also customers don't always know what they're talking about/want so be patient and don't feel bad if you end up dealing with negative attitudes from them.

What I liked
Having the opportunity to open a new store. This allowed my team and I to become very close and have a close bond. We have all built customers connections and gotten to know our regular customers making them happy and making them come back to this day.
What I wish was different
More training involved because since most of us were new, there were many of us who in the beginning were unsure of many things.
Advice
To even in times of pressure and stress, keep moving forward. Hard times will not last forever, so while you're fighting though, the end result will be amazing and rewarding.
