The free coffee :) it's also really nice to interact with my coworkers, we are a loud and fun group.

Sometimes people get cranky when it comes to their caffeine source, so you gotta deal with that.
Advice
Take advantage of their 401k plan, it is basically free money!

I’ve been with Starbucks for 12 years and through Starbucks I’m able to find rewarding community service projects over the summer or through the year.

More people that wanted to do service because they just want to.

Starbucks is a home base that serves the community no matter where you are in the world and because of that I will always have a family.

What I liked
It’s a very easy going Job, you get to learn about coffee, make coffee, and meet new people. I go to ASU through Starbucks and it can be a really rewarding job.
What I wish was different
I was pregnant the entire summer and the company made me work 40 hours a week which was really tiring so I wish they had better work conditions for pregnant people.
Advice
I’m currently still working there and I encourage anyone who wants to have their school payed for and to be dealt free to apply to Starbucks and go to school through them.
