What I liked

Interacting with customers!

What I wish was different

Tips are cash or Starbucks card only. Customers do not have the option to tip on credit cards. This should be adjusted to allow that to benefit partners.

What I liked

This job offered me flexible hours, a friendly work environment and an opportunity to grow in my ability to work well with others professionally as well as in a customer service environment.

What I wish was different

N/A

Advice

This job can be overwhelming at first because of Starbuck's extensive menu but you pick up on things over the first few months and even as a part time employee you are offered great discounts and benefits like a 401K. I think is a great side job to keep for some extra cash over the summer as well as while in school.

What I liked

I liked that I got to work with kind people. Also, the fast pace environment is sometimes exhilarating.

What I wish was different

My managers scheduling was often very tiring. Meaning some of us were scheduled to close but we’d have to wake up at 5:30 to get to work by 6:30 the next morning.
