What I liked
It was a very difficult job for me, but I think that was what I liked. Tatte was a very fast-paced environment due to its location in a busy area D.C., and equipment was constantly malfunctioning. When I was working there, I hated both of these things because they made my job much more difficult. However, looking back I think that I most appreciate these aspects of the job because it made me a much stronger employee. I was forced to learn how to adapt to unexpected situations while under pressure and come up with the best solution to minimize the effect of the situation on the customer's experience. I was also appointed to a leadership position, which placed even more pressure on me to think about not only how I would adapt to unexpected situations, but also how I would delegate tasks to my coworkers to find and execute a solution, as well.
