What I liked

I really liked being in an environment where I was knowledgeable about the subject (golf) and where I could be outside and interact with people all day. I enjoyed meeting new people, and learning about how the food service industry works as well as how sports management plays a role in running a golf course.

What I wish was different

I was not paid that well due to it being a tip-based job. I worked long and hard hours and to be paid only about $4/hour base pay was a little frustrating.

Advice

I would tell future students to only pursue this job if they really like people and they are will to have the job for the experience and not the pay. The reason I had so much fun here was because I had the opportunity to interact with people instead of sitting at a desk all day, so if you are confident and like meeting new people, this is the job for you.
