I liked that I was actually able to experience the daily routine of a parole officer. I was able to go on ride alongs, able to see several arrests, conduct home visits & learn to view the GPS tracks of parolees.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have been assigned with one parole officer for the duration of the whole internship.
Advice
It’s a great experience for those who are interested in parole.
