Mechanical Engineer I
Tasks include leading the design for a design-build project- which includes: Setting up project base files and database information, gathering design data from owner’s project requirements and field survey, performing heat load calculations, selecting HVAC equipment to meet project requirements, developing duct and pipe distribution, coordinating the design with building elements and other utilities, keeping the design in compliance with all applicable state and local codes, preparing Title-24 energy report, obtaining and reviewing equipment submittals, and coordinating release of all drawing packages for permit, construction, and records.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and either university/college course completion or professional experience in Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, HVAC ductwork/piping and systems design.
Strong AutoCAD skills a must, Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Excellent oral/written communication skills, Developed presentation skills, Excellent customer relations skills
Attention to Detail, Ability to multi-task and problem solve, Excellent organizational skills,
A team player with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
