About UCR College Corps

UCR College Corps Fellows Program is recruiting 150 full-time college students for the 2023-2024 cohort. Fellows commit to serve 15 hours per week to support local elementary school, city government agencies, non-profit organizations, and campus departments focused on one of the three key focus areas: K-6 Education, Climate Action, or Food Insecurity. UCR College Corps is part of the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps, a statewide initiative committed to help college students to graduate on time and with less debt while addressing societal challenges across California and developing civic-minded leadership skills.

“I enjoyed giving back to my community by influencing the young minds of our country's future. Working with the children has been an unbelievable experience, they are not only learning from me but I am also learning from them. The teacher staff and administration were very helpful, supportive and nice. The teacher I worked under contributed to the success of my tutoring and worked very closely with me to know and understand how to help each child academically. ”
