Congressional Intern

“This internship places you in the heart of Washington, D.C. with a cohort of leaders. If you have an interest in public policy and social justice, I strongly suggest you apply for the fall, spring, and summer internships. You receive free housing and a stipend to offset the cost of the city. You also gain access to a network of hundreds of business and policy professionals who are happy to help CBCF alumni. ”

“I loved how dynamic the job was! Also, I received a lot of freedom to work on projects of my interest. Some days I would be in the office drafting legislation and other days are spent attending hearings and press conferences with my Congressman. The Foundation offered a lot of professional development sessions as well. ”
